/ˈbarɪstə/ noun. a person called to the bar and entitled to practice as an advocate, particularly in the higher courts.

James is a barrister called to the Queensland bar in 2016.

He delivers great advocacy for and practical advice to his customers.

He has a broad commercial practice, with a particular focus on employment law, industrial disputes and work health and safety matters.  He also accepts briefs concerning commercial disputes, trusts and estates, defamation, building and construction and administrative law.

He has acted for port owners, mining companies, financial service providers, developers, builders, contractors, directors, workers and individuals.
